Quinnipiac Chronicle
The Chronicle is Quinnipiac University’s student newspaper. Over the past few years, I served as an associate editor for the arts and life section and also wrote reviews for various albums, shows, and movies. Two of these pieces have been liked on social media by their subjects, a review of Alessia Cara’s EP This Summer and a review of a Brian Regan stand-up comedy show. In addition to those pieces, I occasionally branched off into the opinion section to write about issues such as the progressive movement in America and the wage gap for Hollywood guest stars.
TV Writing Reviews
When writing prospective television scripts of my own, the best inspiration I can possibly have is found in my favorite shows. I have written six unique reviews of the creation and writing style of different types of shows. Included are comedies like Everybody Loves Raymond and The Office, dramas like The Good Wife, sci-fi classic The Twilight Zone, gameshow Jeopardy!, and even animated series Ben 10. With so many of these works helping shape my own writing style, these reviews felt more like tributes and were a joy to write.
